Onion and cheese tart
Ingredients:
- 300g flour
150g cold butter
100ml cold water
120 g brie cheese
120g camembert cheese
50g grated parmesan
2 big eggs
250 ml of liquid sour cream
2 red onions
Salt
Pepper
We start with the dough. In a bowl, mix the flour with the butter, scraping everything with your fingers. Then add the water and knead for a few minutes until we have a homogeneous and elastic dough. We wrap the dough into food foil and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
15 minutes before we remove the dough from the refrigerator, turn on the oven at medium level. Prepare a rectangular tray with the dimensions of 36 x 13 cm.
Spread a little flour on the table and roll the dough 5mm thick, then put it in the tray, pressing lightly on the edges until it forms the tart. Cut the excess on the edge and pinch the base with the fork from place to plave . Put on top a baking sheet and then add beans to prevent the dough from swelling.
We leave the tart for 20 minutes in the oven, while preparing the stuffing.
Chop the onion and fry it until it becomes slighlty transparent. Separately mix eggs with liquid sour cream, chopped cheese and grated parmesan . Season, then add the onion and stir.
Take the baking paper and beand out and leave the tart another 10 minutes in the oven. Then add the filling and leave it for about 40 minutes or until it gets brown.
When it’s ready, let the tart to cool down a bit and then cut it . Can be served cold or hot.
Bon appétit!
